Anticipated to be the most successful AMG model ever produced by the German automaker, the 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 S is ready to roll in Australia, wearing a handsome price tag of $154,900.
The highly celebrated C63 S roars through a mighty 3.6 liter 6 cylinder engine that can pump 384 horsepower and 154 lb-ft of torque, delivered to rear wheels via four-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain enables the car to instantly jump from rest to 100km/h in 6.5 seconds, before hitting the top cap of 250km/h. Additional upgrades such as AMG Ride Control sports suspension, rear locking differential and AMG’s own Dynamic Select can greatly enhance the performance. The dynamic engine mounts extend better handling according to the driving conditions.
The Australian Division of Mercedes-AMG is excitedly to bring the best C63 ever produced. The previous version of the C63 series had a phenomenal sales run, and now with a much better product the brand is confident to break all sales records.
There is one more good news for Australian car enthusiasts; the Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG 4Matic will also be hitting Australia markets next year, carrying a $100,000 bill on it. Both the C Class models will help the automaker to firm its position in the Australian automotive market.
