The racing arm of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., Honda Performance Development (HPD) has launched its latest Kid Kart engine, GXH50, which is designed to enhance reliability and quality at a reasonable cost as compared to its competitors.
This wonderful engine, which has expanded Honda’s range of high-quality karting products, is available in the market now. Some of the issues, which have had an adverse effect on Kid Karting over the last few years, have been properly addressed in this technology and the manufacturers claim that this engine will revive the passion for karting amongst kids.
Senior manager of HPD’s Commercial Division, Marc Sours said while expressing his views that Kid Karting, being the earliest forms of motorsport, play a massive role in ameliorating the level of interest for racing all around the world. Sours mentioned that Honda is working hard to ensure that children enjoy karting to the maximum extent.
Extremely high engine costs and a lack of control over the engine platform have disheartened a number of novice racers. However, the Honda GXH50 by HPD and the installation kit, which will replace the engine for Kid Kart class, are expected to address the problem.
Apart from a much lower maintenance cost and improved engine parity, the life of the engine is expected to be a lot more than 200 hours, which is higher than the current engines in the market. The retail price of a fully loaded GXH50 is $829. However, young racers can also enjoy home delivery of complete engine and different parts through the Honda Racing Line.
