Car makers today are not just focused on making some of the best cars, but also winning some of the top awards that keep them in the spotlight. Auto awards have become crucial to the business in the automobile industry because it drives lot of audience and many car buyers prefer to search for cars that have won some recognition and awards after going through series of tests and evaluations. Kelley Blue Book’s Best Buy Award is among the most popular and recognized in the industry as vehicles have to go through wide range of factors, tests and checks before they get into the award list and they are finally voted by an elite group of industry experts.
Kelley Blue Book recently made an announcement of the winners of the 2015 Best Buy Awards where they honored some of the top vehicles for the year 2015 in the United States market. It was the 2015 Ford F-150 that bagged the Overall Best Buy Award, but there are many other vehicles in other 12 major categories that also won their part of recognition. Honda has managed to take over four of the awards that covers small and medium size vehicles. The all new 2015 Honda Civic won the Best Small Car award while 2015 Honda Accord won the Best Mid Size Car Award. Similarly, 2015 Honda CR-V won the Best Small SUV/Crossover award while 2015 Honda Odyssey won for the Best Minivan Award. On the other hand, Chevrolet dominated the large vehicle segment with 2015 Impala winning the Best Full Size Car and 2015 Tahoe winning the full size crossover category. The all new 2015 Corvette won the Best Sports/Performance Car while 2015 Chevrolet Volt went on to win the best electric/hybrid segment in the list of awards. In terms of luxury it was the 2015 Mercedes Benz C-Class that won the Best Luxury Car Award.
