While Porsche has managed to attract many car buyers towards the kind of cars that they introduce in the market the automaker has now come up with Porsche Driver’s Selection a new range of lifestyle apparel and accessories. Porsche has made an announcement that this month they are debuting three designer collections, 50 years of 911, Steve McQueen and Motorsport. The new collection will have some new apparel and accessories design that will appeal to many sports car buyers that want to go for better lifestyle apparels that match with their sporty Porsche cars.
Tim Quinn Vice President of AfterSales at Porsche Cars North America said that the new Driver’s Selection package that they are debuting this month is to honor the heritage of the Porsche brand. It is also to celebrate the anniversary of the iconic Porsche 911 model that Porsche is really proud of and that have managed to stick to the roots of motorsports for so many decades. The 50 years of 911 collection will focus on all the years of the iconic sports car and bring back the fashion of the 60’s. This collection will feature men’s and women’s clothing and a limited edition 50 Years of 911 watch.
Porsche will also pay tribute to Hollywood legend and Porsche enthusiast Steve McQueen popularly known for his role in Le Mans in the year 1971. Porsche designers will work together with artist Nicolas Hunziker and Steve McQueen’s son Chad McQueen to the develop the collection. The third collection, the Motorsport collection will focus on the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
