Owner smashes the $70k electric vehicle minutes after purchasing it

Car lovers and even those who are not too enthusiastic about them will attest to the thrill and exhilaration a brand new car brings. When the car in question is a spanking Tesla Model S costing $70k it’s understandable if owner gets the jitters.

Call it excitement, over excitement or placing too much value in your drifting skills (car lovers and movie fans of a certain franchise will know what I am talking about) that led the owner of Tesla Model S to crash his brand new vehicle into the signboard right outside the dealership. The image of the smashed up vehicle has been shared on Reddit and it depicts the vehicle in question with a wrecked fender almost knocking over a Tesla sign over a gravel pathway.

If you look at the image closely, it clearly shows the overenthusiastic driver just missed the show room glass windows by a precious few inches. On the left hand side, an onlooker can be seen watching the entire spectacle with amazement. Needless to say we can only imagine what was going on in the head of the owner!
