Fiat, as a way to celebrate Fiat 500’s original launch back in 1957, has decided to introduce a limited-run Fiat 500 Vintage edition, which is set to debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show next month.
This vintage beauty, despite being based on the latest Fiat 500, packs stylistic features heavily influenced by its 1957 model to pay homage to it. Therefore, this retro-style Fiat 500 boasts the same contrasting white roof, antenna, mirror covers and spoiler as those of its ancestor.
Also on board are vintage-looking 16-inch alloy wheels adorned with classic Fiat logo.
The interior packs the characteristic white dashboard, the historic Fiat logo embossed in the steering wheel and Poltrona Frau leather seats with “500” embroidered on them in tan, complete with ivory leather ‘half-moon’ inserts.
Some added perks consist of a contemporary set of equipment to defy its vintage label including air con, Bluetooth, Fiat’s Blue&Me system, seven airbags and ESC with hill-holder brakes.
The car offers a choice between 51kW 1.2-liter engine and the 63kW 900cc TwinAir turbo engine.
The Fiat 500 Vintage edition is going to be available in Europe from April, with prices starting from £12,545.
